Imagine Your Korea: Korea’s New Brand Slogan

The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) launched the new tourism logo and slogan “Imagine Your Korea” last July 22, 2014.

The new brand identity “Imagine your Korea” was designed to better promote and communicate Korea’s tourist attractions to international visitors. The new slogan encapsulates Korea’s diverse natural, historical and cultural aspects and the new logo uses traditional Korean design aspects, as the vibrant colors on the letter “K” were inspired from seakdong, the colorful stripes seen on hanbok (traditional Korean clothes).  source: VisitKorea website

The launched also revealed a new tourism TV ad featuring the globally known KPOP group BIGBANG.  The ad shows the members introducing popular sites and fun experiences such as skiing underneath the moon, exploring nature, enjoying K-pop concerts and shopping.

In relation with the slogan launched, buzz Korea which is KTO’s global campaign and integrated online community site that reveals Korea’s attractions and various Korea-related contents through social media has an event called “To:ur Imagination.” Aside from BigBang’s ad, foreign celebrities –  Mario Maurer (Thailand), Xin Jiang (China), Ebina Kenichi (Japan) and Michelle Phan (U.S.A.) also introduced their 4 days and 3 nights tour program in Korea and the videos of their trip were shared on the To:ur Imagination website.

Participate in the event from July 15 – August 31, 2014 and get a chance to WIN A FREE TRIP TO KOREA and make your imagination come true.  KTO will select 8 grand prize winners on a 4-day trip to Korea in October or November.
